                                                           Gifted With Hydrangea

Ryker is finally claimed by his mate Rudo, and all he wants is his happily ever after, but their mating is threatened when Rudo's ex-alpha betrays them, sending Rudo back into captivity. Things only get worse after their rescue when they find more labs, each worse than the last, the final lab leaving them exposed to a new and severely lethal virus that was created using shifter DNA.

Enzo finds that his secret admirer is actually his mate; Heath. But a misunderstanding leaves Heath traumatized. Now Enzo has to try and convince Heath that he isn’t a monster. Not easy when he has to take over the entire pack when his alpha and their entire team gets exposed to a weaponized virus. Tension is high and Enzo wonders how he could possibly convince Heath to let him claim him, and not run screaming for the hills from all the drama.

Alphy looked out the window. “There’s Kace and Marley with the trespasser.”
Ryker was curious, so he followed Alphy out into the main room. He felt Rudo following close behind.
They were both in the main office area when a naked Kace and Marley escorted in a man about Ryker’s height. The little man was pale, and Ryker could hear his heart beating at a dangerously fast rate. He had some minor cuts and bruises, and his fear was so palpable that Ryker could taste it on his tongue. Yuck.
Ryker smiled at him, careful to hide his fangs. “Hi, I’m Ryker. My brother’s a doctor, and you look like you can use one. How about I call him over?”
The young man didn’t say anything, so Ryker just took out his cell and dialed his brother. As he was waiting for Seamus to pick up, he saw Alphy give Kace and Marley stern looks.
“What the hell happened to him?”
“Sorry, Alphy,” Kace answered guiltily. “I guess he didn’t know how to ride a horse. He fell off.”
Seamus’s voice came over the line. “Hey, Rye, what’s going on?”
“Hi, Sea-salts. Hey, I’m up here in the office. Kace and Marley just brought in a human. He’s not doing so good. His heart-rate is nearly through the roof, and he apparently fell off a horse. He’s got some cuts and bruises.”
“On my way.” And the line went dead.
Ryker placed his cell in his pocket and motioned for the young man to take a seat, all the while offering him a kind smile. “Take a load off, uh—what’s your name?”
The man looked at the seat that he had offered and took a moment to contemplate, as if he wasn’t sure it was a good idea. But he soon made his decision and sat down. He was shaking pretty badly, and only whimpered in response.
“Hey, calm down, buddy. No one’s gonna hurt you.” Ryker tried to calm him down, but the young man shied away when Ryker tried to pat his arm. The man looked up fearfully at Kace, who was dressed now. There were always extra clothes strategically placed everywhere.
Alphy glared at Kace. “Kace, wanna tell me why he thinks you’re going to hurt him?”
Kace tilted his head slightly, submitting to the alpha, and winced. “I may have threatened him a little bit, before I put him up on Marley’s back.”
Marley added, “Don’t forget how vicious the two girls were. You would have almost thought them rabid, and with how skinny they were, I bet he thought they were going to eat him.”
Alphy rubbed his forehead and sighed heavily. The sound of a quad rumbled down below, and shut off.
Ryker perked up. “That would be my brother, Seamus. You remember, he’s the doctor.”
The man didn’t respond. A moment later, both Seamus and his beloved, Maysa, walked through the door. He went directly to the man and knelt down in front of him.
“Hi. My name is Doctor Seamus Rossi, but you can call me Seamus. I can tell you’re very upset. Your heart-rate is at a dangerous level. If you’d like, I can give you a mild sedative to calm you just a bit. It wouldn’t knock you out. It would just calm you.”
The man was shaking his head, furiously, and he backed away from Seamus. Seamus put his hands up and spoke calmly.
“It’s all right. I won’t give you anything you don’t want. Do you have any allergies?”
Everyone gave them more room as Seamus continued to question and examine the man. Kace and Marley took up guarding positions by the door, and Alphy backed up a bit, pulling Ryker and Rudo with him. Things felt like they were starting to calm down until Enzo walked in the door. That was when all hell broke loose.

Rudo sat quietly and listened to the others around him talk, but his mind wasn’t focused on it. It calmed him to hear the tapping and clicking noises his mate made as Ryker did his magic on his laptop. He would forever be amazed by how smart his little mate was. He was proud of Rye, and could hardly believe his good fortune that fate had chosen him to be his mate.
He looked over to where Seamus had gone. His body slightly tensed as he saw the shifter they were working on start to get a little combative with Seamus and another man in a HazMat suit. A hand, partially shifted, shot up and clawed Seamus through his suit. He heard Seamus shout to the other doctor to sound the alarm. The sound hurt Rudo’s ears, but he ignored it as he grabbed his mate around the waist, and began pulling as far away from the other tent as possible. The others in his tent followed, all huddling against the far end, away from the chaos. He now had both arms wrapped around Ryker as he heard Neto finally answer Enzo, whose shouts weren’t helping their nerves any.
The minutes felt like hours as they watched helplessly. He felt his mate shaking in his arms, but it wasn’t fear he sensed, as much as it was sorrow.
Shh, everything will be all right, little mate.” He rubbed one hand up and down Ryker’s arm. He didn’t want to lessen his grip with the other hand, so he just used his thumb to rub Ryker’s side. And even though he wasn’t using vocal words, he dipped his head, lightly grazing the shell of Ryker’s ear with his lips.
My brother’s suit was compromised. I can see blood from here. He’s bleeding. If that shifter was infected, then now my brother is, too.”
Rudo continued to watch silently as everything began to get back under control. Alphy had a little bit of blood on him, as well as the other guy he had tackled, who now lay limply over the nearby up-turned bed. The alarms were finally shut off, which had Rudo breathing out a sigh of relief.
Slowly, everything was put back into place. All of the suits and Alphy congregated together, discussing something. Finally, Seamus and Alphy, walked over to the window. Everyone approached to hear what they had to say, but they didn’t sit down or make themselves comfortable.
Seamus removed the top of his suit. The tips of his strawberry blond hair stuck to his sweaty skin in places. The look on his face was somber, and Rudo tried to mentally prepare for the undoubtedly bad news.
Three of these men are infected,” Seamus began. “When a host becomes infected, there is an incubation time where the virus doesn’t cause any symptoms until it matures, and becomes active. When the virus becomes active, the first part of the disease causes the patient to be crazed, and if they are a shifter, their animal takes over. The human scientists neglected to tell me the shifter’s animal takes over violently.”
Alphy growled low, and his look, though it wasn’t directed at any of them, made Rudo feel intimidated.
They said they forgot, because they always gave the shifters a shifting inhibitor to prevent that from occurring.” Alphy nearly spat the words out.
What happens now?” Enzo asked.
Now,” Seamus continued, “Alphy and I are going to start the serum that we have created so far. Maybe if we get it early enough, it will stop it from progressing.” But the look of doubt on Seamus’s face indicated that the chances of that were highly unlikely.
Rudo hadn’t let go of his mate, and it was a good thing because Ryker’s legs buckled, and he felt his mate’s sobs rack through his slim body. Rudo turned him and held him close to his heart.

The Vampire's Bat

The Vampire's Bat book 4 in the Kaska pack series.

When the mystery visitor he has been scenting for just over a week suddenly appears in his infirmary, wearing only his shirt, Seamus’s bonding instinct slams into him hard. But Maysa has been an experimental test subject and has developed a fear of needles so severe she cannot get past his fangs, and this delays their bonding. The delay sends him into a coma, and his only possible salvation is the blood of his beloved, who is still afraid of his fangs.

Maysa’s shifter scenting ability is off, so she can’t be sure Seamus is really her mate. Still, with other shifters, including her family, stuck in the hell she escaped from, and a perverted, sick and twisted hunter after her, she reaches out to Seamus. Placing her trust in his hands, she learns two very important things: don’t let your fear hold you back, and when it comes to her, Seamus is no mild mannered medic. He’s a force to be reckoned with.

Excerpt:
“That tall brunette is Alphy’s sister, Havana. That tall guy there is her mate, Dultyn. He’s going to be our protector while we’re out. Apparently, we girls can’t avoid trouble every time we go to town.”
Havana guffawed. “Twice, it only happened twice, and the first time we girls kicked butt. But hey, who am I to argue with an extra pair of hands to carry our bags, huh?” Havanna looked up at her mate and wiggled her eyebrows. Maysa joined in when everyone laughed.
“And the glowing, radiant one is Lois,” Gale finished.
Lois giggled. “Hi, Maysa.”
Maysa sat quietly, listening as Gale and Havana dominated most of the discussions as they drove into town. She didn’t mind, as they were both funny. They stopped at several shops, grabbing bags full of clothes and shoes for her. She would have told them it was too much, but just as she suspected, she couldn’t turn down their eagerness and excitement. Fortunately, they chose things she actually really liked.
In the fourth shop, Lois grabbed her stomach and nearly fell face first onto the floor as she doubled over. “Oh!” Her face was distorted in pain.
Seamus was by her side instantly. “Lois, don’t hold your breath. You need to breathe. Hum on your exhales. That’s it.” He looked up at Dultyn. “We need to get her home now. Dultyn, unlock the van. Gale, give that stuff to the clerks. We don’t have time to purchase it. Havana, call the house and have Katie, Reese, and Rushod ready in the infirmary.” Seamus lifted Lois effortlessly and began carrying her out of the store.
Maysa hurried along beside her mate. Wait—mate? Is he? Her thoughts were interrupted by another yelp from Lois. Everyone rushed to get in the van, and they took off, back towards home. Home? Is it? Yes, it feels like home to me. How is that? Brushing her thoughts aside, she helped Lois try to focus on her breathing. Lois was having a difficult time breathing, between the pain and her worry.
“But it’s too early,” she cried. “Two weeks is like four for humans.”
Seamus was beside her, also trying to keep her calm. “Calm down, Lois. If your baby comes today, you’re far enough along that there’s a good chance that your baby will be born healthy. You just need to relax as much as you can and breathe.”
“Hee, hoo, hee, hoo…” She breathed as instructed.
They sped home slowing down only at the corners and only slightly as they drove over the newly graveled road to the house.
No doubt feeling helpless, Gale and Havana tried to make the situation lighter.
“I am so glad they filled in this road in prep for the pack run,” Gale said.
“I actually miss the challenge of not vaulting through the roof or bottoming out on all those dips. Where’s the fun in this?” Havana teased.
“True.” Gale smirked. “My favorite part was Katie’s threats. I think Enzo was traumatized. He always tries to cover his crotch in some way or other whenever she’s around.”
A man who looked frantic was waiting for them just outside the garage. He flung the van door open before they could get to a complete stop, and reached in, grabbing Lois.
Seamus grabbed Maysa’s hand and dragged her up the stairs. He quickly planted a peck on her cheek and left her standing by the kitchen island as he disappeared into the hospital room. Gale, Havana, and Dultyn joined her. “Well damn.” Havana plopped down on one of the stools at the breakfast bar. “Now Alphy’s never going to let us girls go shopping ever again.”
Gale gave her a pointed look. “That won’t happen if he ever wants to get laid again.”
“Like you could deny him.” Havana snickered.
“Just threaten him with calling him ‘poopsy’ openly and often,” Kace drawled as he stepped through the door, followed by a growling Alphy, who shot a sharp look his way before grabbing his mate.
“Yes, that would just about do it,” Alphy’s voice grumbled. “How are you doing, Honey-bear?”
“I’m fine. It’s Lois I’m worried about. I thought you said shifters can scent when a woman’s body starts the hormonal change for labor.”
“We can. I don’t know what happened, but Sea’s the best,” he responded.
Several other people gathered and waited with them. Lois’s screams dominated all the other commotion they heard coming from the hospital room. Maysa started getting sicker to the stomach, the more time that passed. After about an hour and a half, she had gotten to the point she was shaking uncontrollably. Unable to hold it down any longer, she ran to the sink and threw up.
“Oh Maysa. Are you all right?” Gale ran to her and tried rubbing her back. “Havana, will you get a glass for her out of that cupboard?”
After rinsing the foul contents down the drain, Maysa used the glass Gale handed her and rinsed out her mouth before taking a drink. Her eyes and nose were running, and her hand shook so hard it made it difficult to hold the glass.
Alphy gave Maysa a sympathetic look. “Are the screams bothering you?” he asked. Maysa’s throat was sore, so she just nodded her answer.
“Oh!” Gale inhaled. “I feel so embarrassed. I should have realized…” Gale seemed to have become speechless for a moment, then recovered. “Would you feel better if we waited in the house? We can unload all those bags of clothes and pack them in your new luggage. That would be fun, you think?” Gale smiled at her encouragingly.
Before Maysa could answer, a baby’s cry came from the other room. Everyone turned to look at the closed door. It opened, and a very pale young teen appeared. He crinkled his nose as he approached. “Eww, who puked?”
“Reese!” Alphy actually growled at him.
Reese looked around before spotting her. His eyes took on recognition and rounded. “Oh, I’m sorry. That was really stupid of me. Hey, don’t feel bad. Sea sent me out here to get some color back into my face. That was, uh, interesting to watch, uh, yeah. It was a lot … uh…” His cheeks began to pink.
“Hey look, you got your color back.” Havana shot him a smug look.

Falcon shifter, Phoenix Savage was orphaned just after he learned to shift. A racist culling by his own childhood cast. Adopted by Enzo’s family, he stayed by the wolf shifters side all these decades. But in the past years, he never really got enough time in his fluff so after settling into the pack, he was happy to spend as much time in his falcon form as he could. He wasn’t in any hurry to get a mate…until she appeared from the clouds, sharing the same airspace as him. Now he wants her and will do anything to get her.
Bronya Webber is a human recovery pilot working for her father, repossessing planes for the bank. When her most recent repo starts to lose power, she has no idea the whiplash life she was about to be thrown into when she made an emergency landing in a field of wildflowers. Three days later, she’s endured a volatile introduction to the paranormal world, a plane crash, several hot claiming’s by her mate and an encounter with her crazed stalker who shoots her new mate. Oh, and another eye opener, her parents knew about paranormals all along. When Seamus had told her things happened fast in the paranormal world, she’s finding her breath hard to come by with the understatement of his words.

Excerpt for Barely Winging It

Dultyn landed with his weight thundering through the ground at his impact. He flung his arm out and around, and the water coating his arm splattered into the shifter as Dultyn backhanded him. Before the shifter could finish sliding across the muddy ground, Dultyn was standing over him. Pulling his fist back, he let it fly forward and pummeled the downed shifter into unconsciousness.

Whipping around, he quickly spotted the woman sitting on the ground. Water soaked into her ebony curls and ran down past her widened eyes, into and around her opened mouth. She was leaning back against her hands and her knees were bent, ready to crab walk backwards away from him. He had to hand it to her. She wasn’t running away screaming in panic. That was a common reaction.

“I am Dultyn. I am friends with Nix and Enzo. I will not hurt you.”

The shocked human slowly nodded, then placed herself in a slightly more comfortable position. He could scent she was exceptionally leery of him, but not quite afraid, like she didn’t know what to make of him.

The rain started to let up just a little bit, and he soon heard a falcon screeching through the air and paws beating the earth drawing near. Enzo’s wolf came into view and slowed down. His wet and muddy paws splashed against the soggy earth while he trotted towards Dultyn. His fur was smeared with blood. It ran off his coat and dripped onto the ground.

Dultyn motioned to the shifter. “This is Enzo. He won’t hurt you. Nix is here, too.” He looked up, and the woman followed his eyes to a falcon landing on a low branch.

He heard her draw in her breath. “The falcon I saw.”

Nix spread his wings and glided to the ground. Enzo trotted over and sniffed the unconscious attacker and stood guard over him. Nix shifted in front of the woman. Once he was fully formed, kneeling on the soggy ground, he held his hands up. “I’m not going to hurt you. I am so terribly sorry you had to find out about us like this. I wanted to wait for a better time when I felt you would be more ready for me to show you.” Nix inched forward, but Dultyn could see her eyes roam Nix’s naked flesh and after viewing what was in between his legs, her brows drew up. He couldn’t help chuckle. Just about all shifters were bigger … everywhere.

Her eyes darted to him, then Enzo’s wolf, then back to Nix, who stopped advancing after he was right in front of her with his hands held out to her. “Let me hold you, please. I promise we aren’t going to hurt you, especially me. You are very special to me.”

“You were the one in the field that day?” Her voice was tentative.

“Yes. I’ll explain everything to you, but right now I would really appreciate it if you would let me hold you. I promise not to do anything else. I just need to hold you to assure myself and my falcon that you are all right.”

After a moment of thought, she nodded. Nix’s relief was noticeable. Dultyn saw his chest heave in a relieved sigh, and his shoulders relaxed. The woman placed her hands in Nix’s, and he drew her to him. Both on their knees, he held her securely. Dultyn could see Nix’s eyes were closed as he slightly relaxed, and a fully relieved look passed over his features. Dultyn’s heart ached. He wanted that with his mate. They’d both made mistakes, but he wasn’t going to focus on who did what. He was determined just to fix them. It was well past midnight though, and with this new mess, he wasn’t sure if he could fix his mistake tonight, but if not, he vowed he would tomorrow. Even if he had to fly through hell and face the beast, he would.

A growl drew everyone’s attention to Enzo. The unconscious attacker was coming to. When the offender opened his eyes, Enzo placed a heavy paw on his chest and continued to growl in the man’s face. The man tilted his head and bared his neck in submission to the more dominant shifter.

Nix stood up, taking his mate with him, and led her to stand by Dultyn. “Bronya, this is Dultyn. Dultyn, this is my mate, Bronya. Would you watch her while I back up Enzo?”

Dultyn nodded. He watched Nix place a slight kiss on the woman’s cheek then turned to help the beta. Rain spattered off his naked shoulders creating cords of water that streamed down his body, pulling stray droplets down with them as they connected.

Dultyn spread out a wing and held it over the woman, hoping to keep her sheltered and slightly warmer.

Nix directed his anger at the man. “Get on your feet!”

Before the man sat up, Slate, in his lion form, leaped into the tiny clearing and slid in the mud to a stop. Dultyn heard Bronya gasp next to him. “Do not worry, that is Slate. He is part of our pack and won’t hurt you or Nix. The shifter on the ground, however, might get a little roughed up if he isn’t careful.”

Bronya didn’t respond, but she slightly relaxed. She remained silent as they watched the offending shifter slowly rise, keeping his neck exposed the entire time. Popping joints and ligaments added to the sound of the rain as Slate shifted.

Looking down at the wolf, Slate addressed the beta, “Matteo stayed in the room waiting for us.” The wolf nodded his head, then nipped at their prisoner’s heels to get him moving. “Why aren’t you shifting?” Slate asked.

“Because he knows how pissed off it would make me for someone else to be naked in front of my mate,” Nix bit out irritably. Dultyn saw his jaw twitch as he clinched his jaw and the look on his face mirrored what his own had when he had seen Havana undress and stand naked on the porch the night before.

Slate looked around and nodded his head towards Dultyn and Bronya. Then looking back, he raised a brow at the irritated falcon shifter. “I’m mated, thus, I don’t want her, so get over it.”

Slate's Mistake

Slate's Mistake

Slate's mistake is book 2 in the Kaska pack series.

This book has over 54k words.

When Slate accompanied his alpha to a herd they are now responsible for, he didn’t expect to meet his very human mate—who has cancer. Will mating her heal her or will it kill him? Slate doesn’t care which, because now that he found his mate, he can’t live without her no matter what. But then his mother and youngest sister get attacked, and Slate has to face his past.
When Katie Williams, her half-shifter-sister Sara, and her de facto father Henry suspect she has the same disease that killed her mother, she turns for help to the doctor that came with their new alpha. But as she is being examined, a man charges in and attacks the doctor, claiming to be her mate. Even if Katie can get over being mad at him, can she chance killing him if the mating doesn’t cure her?

Excerpt:

Slate wanted to growl back at his alpha as he left the room. When he came downstairs, his nose picked up a sent that caused his dick to go half hard in a near instant and he didn’t realize he had followed the scent until he had the door open and saw Seamus’ hands groping the breast of a woman whom he immediately realized was his mate. It put him in a rage like nothing else. All he could think about was strangling a man he considered a friend.
Now his mate sat on the floor, pressed against a wall as hard as she could. He could scent the acrid bitterness of her fear, and it hurt him deeply. He’d never meant to scare her. She was the one person, specially made for him, who would complete him. She already meant more to him than his own friends.
He walked slowly around the bed. He would have stood in front of her but the shifter hovering over her wouldn’t move. He wanted to growl and remove the offensive being, but his mate had asked him to stay, so he meant something special to her, therefore to him, damn it. He just hoped the shifter wasn’t her husband. Some shifters took spouses instead of waiting for their destined mate.
He kept his voice low, and calm, and looked the man in the eyes, “Please move, I won’t harm her. You know I won’t. I can’t.”
The man didn’t lower his eyes in submission to Slate’s higher rank, which didn’t sit well with his lion, and the concern that he may be a boyfriend or husband to her, really didn’t help. His lion paced, growled, hissed and clawed inside his head, wanting to get out and maul the other shifter into submission. He fought with everything in him not to lose control again.
The shifter didn’t move and even dared to look Slate straight in his eyes. “You already have hurt her. Not all hurt is physical.”
Just like that, the wind was knocked from Slate’s lungs without a single physical blow, further validating what the man had just spoken. With just those words, it caused him to bleed inside. The man was right. He’d scared his mate. Scratch that, he’d terrified her. After catching his breath, leaning on the balls of his feet, he slowly squatted down to look his mate in her big blue eyes.
“I am truly sorry. I promise you are safe with me. Please let me prove myself to you.”
She didn’t move for a second, then slowly shook her head, and her scent started to change from fearful to angry. “You attacked the doctor! Who was trying to help me! If you were my mate, you would want me to be helped, not keep me from help!”
Oh boy, he thought, she’s pissed. He would be slightly relieved that she wasn’t afraid of him anymore, but he got a sinking suspicion this anger may cost him his mating. He had made a costly mistake by losing control. Hell, he shouldn’t have even opened the door. He had no right to, and now his mating was jeopardized. His stomach fluttered into a soured state at that thought. No! He thought to himself, I won’t stop trying to earn her back, ever. His lion agreed with that thought. No matter how long it took, they wouldn’t cease to earn her back.
“Go away!” she bit out. Slate nearly flinched at the distaste she had for him.
“You heard her.” The words from the man standing over them sounded clipped.
Slate ignored the man. “I’ll leave the room and I’ll give you time, but you are my mate, and I can’t and won’t keep out of your life. I’ll leave my number for you if you ever need me. Again, I’m truly sorry for scaring you.”
His lion roared his anger in his head as he stood up to leave. It felt like the hardest thing he had ever done when he walked out of the door. He didn’t even feel this sick when he left his mother and sister when he had left home.
Outside the door, Seamus, Ryker, Tom, Kace, and Alphy were all standing in the hall. He knew they could hear what was said in there. Their hearing was much better than a human’s. He clenched his jaw, trying to get a hold on his distraught emotions. He cleared his throat. “Uh, Sea man, I sincerely apologize. I value our friendship, and I hope you can forgive me.”
Seamus looked at him with sympathy. He didn’t bear a single mark from their scuffle and didn’t even look rumpled. The man always seemed pristine. “I accept your apology. Please excuse me now. I have a patient to attend to.” Seamus ducked past the line of men and entered the quiet room. Slate held his eyes shut tight, to keep them from looking back into the room before it lightly closed shut. He was certain if he had looked, he wouldn’t be able to walk away.
A heavy hand with a firm grip patted and clasped his shoulder. He looked up to see his alpha’s concerned face. “Whatever you need, let me know. I’ll do whatever I can to help. Just so you know, that shifter in there is the man who raised her. Their relationship is platonic.”
Slate felt only slightly relieved at the news. With his emotions so enflamed, he could only nod at his alpha and friend. Alphy turned and headed down the hall, most likely going back to his own mate. The thought caused a deep pain in his chest. He wanted his mate, and she refused him. He rubbed his chest. “Ryker.” Looking over at the smaller red headed man, Slate was grateful to see he wasn’t mad at him for attacking his brother. “Do you have some paper I can use? I’d like to leave her my number.”
“Sure do, I’ll write it down for her. Be right back.” The lithe man trotted down the hall.
Slate turned to the last man in the hall. Kace gave him a lopsided grin and leaned over, tapping Slate heavily on the shoulder. “Congrats, man, it’s awesome you found your mate. Don’t worry about your dramatic entrance. Things will turn out in the end, and it will be a great story to tell your kids.” With another heavy pat, he left Slate alone.

The Role of a Rose

Digging through a folder with old art I made when I was younger, I found a poem. This was made in 1991 and I even drew a pretty picture on it. So I guess the KHRpack poem wasn't my very first.

                                                            The Role of a Rose

You don't have to send me expensive flowers.

You don't have to say any inspiring words.

Words that mean more than the precious hours of time,
that slip away timelessly towards another world.

It seems to me in my trembling soul,
when you look me in the eye,
                                 I feel a cry.

A cry that plays an important role,
like the role of a single red rose.

The cry of a precarious crime,
                                 of a stolen heart.

But only in a matter of time.

Health rant

To all those people who complain about obesity, time to scream out my frustration!!!

There are impoverished people whose kids are considered obese because the parents just really don't know WHAT to make, or have no time and energy. So they get easy premade stuff which isn't healthy. I know, because that is what I do and it is the norm for others in my class of people.

All you people who don't live check to check, and all you people who don't have to guess which bill to short so the mouths in the house can be fed, are the ones out there bellyaching about bad health in this country and blaming the parents. STOP judging without knowing all the facts. Many people don’t have college careers available. Many people have learning problems. Many have had some event or other strike, keeping them from higher goals. We are willing to learn. So instead of derision, think of teaching.

People (the ones who can cook and love it even) swear it's cheaper and healthier to make things yourself then buy prepackaged processed foods. Great, so show me how!!! (Without a million and fifty steps per meal) and without charging us for this help. We obviously don’t have the money. That is the point of our buying cheap foods.

I have always wanted a site that would cater to helping people who just can't seem to learn cooking (I would be happier cleaning out the litter box with my bare hands...I hate cooking that much).

Fast, easy, UNCOMLICATED full healthy meals on a crazy teeny tiny budget. (Meaning I can't afford to pay any site for their services)

I have, what I believe, is a great idea for a site to help with this because I know I just can't possibly be the only person on our planet of over 7 BILLION people who need this kind of help. Are you interested? Do you need help or want to help?

If a site could be created and placed out there to target these people who CAN'T afford to pay for ANYTHING else, I believe THAT is how you would help reduce the obesity problem in our country.
